Green India Consultancy (GIC) conducted a comprehensive wetland survey of the Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary, one of the important wetland ecosystems of Gujarat, to assess its ecological characteristics, biodiversity status, and conservation requirements. The study involved field-based observations, documentation of wetland features, assessment of habitat conditions, and collection of ecological information to support effective wetland management planning. The survey provided valuable baseline information on the status of the wetland ecosystem and supported GEER Foundation in developing strategies for biodiversity conservation, habitat improvement, and sustainable management of the sanctuary.
Green India Consultancy (GIC) conducted a detailed ecological assessment of Thol Bird Sanctuary focusing on water quality parameters and aquatic biodiversity, with special emphasis on phytoplankton and zooplankton communities. The study involved water quality monitoring, ecological observations, and analysis of biological indicators to understand the health status of the wetland ecosystem. The assessment generated scientific insights into the relationship between water quality and aquatic biodiversity, supporting conservation planning, habitat management, and long-term monitoring of the Thol wetland ecosystem.
